In my family, weak men left their children without any support and strong women worked caring for two or more. Because of this personal experience about responsibility and gender roles, combined with the freedom I have learnt from my mother and grandmother, everything I do is a queer-feminist statement.
When I read out loud humiliating prices of sexworkers or I destroy female representations, or sing folk songs revealing their misogynistic character or iron a flag on the stage, I am driven by the same thought: the way to change our world has to start by changing the actual gender relations and narratives.
Under Queerfeminism you find my works questioning gender traditions and also about care-work and queer revolution. Those with quotations of so-called women’s work, housewife activities and general sustainability are also under this link.
