Pisaország

2007-9 I Budapest

Pisaország (Land of Pee) was a street art project all across Budapest’s downtown. I drew yellow contours of urine puddles, with a long lasting colour, onto pavements. The critical message of these country-shaped drawings, was very much dependent on their surroundings. Those painted in the party zone were meant as a critique of the invasion of night-life tourists. And those, painted on the pavement of government buildings, were pointed at the morals of the Hungarian political elite.
