Entdeckung
2014 I Berlin
Entdeckung (Discovery) was a video about the abundance of contemporary cultural programs in Berlin. Being a first-time exhibitor in the capital, I felt overwhelmed by the mass of cultural events. To express my fascination, I decided to shoot a video using the photographic tradition of posters. It was a pretty cold day for a filming on the street. However, we managed to shoot long enough, to give the viewer the sense of endlessness.
This work was my debut in the international art arena. In a similar way, to how the video ends due to my frozen hands having had enough, I would later exit the artworld as well.
