Adieu XXème siècle (Good-bye XXth Century) is a photo mural in a pub in Budapest's downtown. It was intended to be a temporary memorial before the then-new law banned smoking from all the pubs in Hungary. When the law came into force the staff of the pub decided to leave the mural with the well-known actress (Irén Psota). smoking there. So she always reminds us of the days of socialism when smoking was an important ritual bringing different people of the society together and giving women an extra taste of freedom and equality.
